Gross Olympics in My Daycare: My C.S.S.D.C. (my daycare abbreviation) created something called the Gross Olympics. It is a series of events of gross and/or disgusting challenges. There are three teams. This year, our captains are J, S, and A (my captain). Whoever has the most points at the end wins (first place)! Rules are no pushing, hitting, one person at a time, no helping, and have fun! First place team gets a trophy and a medal, 2nd place team gets a big medal, and 3rd place team gets a small medal.

I will tell you some of the challenges we had to do. One of them was “who can blow the biggest bubble”? In this challenge, everyone gets a piece of bubble gum then they get a few tries to get a really big bubble. Whoever blew the biggest bubble gets two points for their team (by the way, if your team is 1st on a challenge they get two points. If 2nd, one point, 3rd, none!). My team was 2nd on that challenge! Another challenge is “which team can spit 10 candies in the bowl”? The teams are in three lines about two meters away from three bowls. The teachers give everybody some candy. And when it is a person’s turn, they will attempt to spit the candies in the bowl about two meters away. If you go to close to the bowl and you score, it doesn’t count. Our team was 1st! The next challenge (I can think of) is “who can shave the most sharing cream off a water balloon over your captain’s head without popping it”? In this challenge, your captain sits on a chair with a water balloon covered with sharing cream over their head. The captain picks a person to come. The other person receives scissors opened fully. Then they have to use the cutting part of the scissors to take of the sharing cream of the balloon. If it pops, you fail! The one to take off the most cream wins! My team was 3rd
The last challenge is “who can answer these questions”? There are three teams in three lines behind three chairs. Each person from each line gets a turn to sit on a chair. They will hold a water balloon over their head. The teacher will then say a question. People will attempt to answer the question by saying their name so the teacher knows who is trying to answer. If you get it wrong, the water balloon over your head gets popped. If you get it right, your team gets one point and the other two opponents get their water balloon popped over their heads. My team was 1st! there are three or two more challenges but I do not have time to explain them.  The results: my team = 1st, J’s team = 2nd, and S’ team = 3rd!!! I won first!!!!!!!!!! Then we got washed with sprinklers. The points are 14, 9 and 8.

The gross Olympics is a fun array of gross challenges. Maybe you should attend too!!!
