The Road to Revolutions.
--Toronto Star
When 20-year-old Michael Skupien thought of an idea with his buddy, 20-year-old Alex Rodrigues, it become so popular that Canada is going to use if. That idea was self-driving cars!
Over the summer, Skupien and Rodigues decided to build a self-driving golf cart. They are planning to make more and give them to senior homes and resorts. This idea struck the conference Board of Canada. They estimated that if they used these cars, 65 billion dollars will be saved from car accidents, it will prevent 80% of car accident deaths, reduce fuel consumptions, and make traffic more efficient.
But there are some problems to the idea “such as whom do you give a driving ticket to”, and the city is going to have make lots of changes to the road’s and traffic signs and rules.
But other, then that, I personally think it is a great idea! It is safer and it saves money! It is revolutionary!
